Sotheby's Hong Kong | Imperial Porcelain Playthings | Auction Summary

The Xuande blue and white 'fish' bowl had fetched Sotheby's a sale amount over HK$200 million. The followed sale "In His Majesty’s Palm: Exquisite Porcelain Playthings" also ended with satisfying results.

All the 9 lots offered was sold successfully. The top lot, a Chenghua blue and white cup with motifs of gardenia sprigs, was realized for more than HK$30 million, a double of its low estimate. The second and top lots are a Chenghua doucai stem cup and a Yongzheng 'chicken' cup respectively. The realized prices of both lots exceeded their estimation range.
