Banksy's sensational act of shredding his work Girl with Balloon at Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Sale was perhaps one of the most headline-grabbing news in the art industry last year. After the stunt, the artwork was renamed Love is in the Bin. Both Sotheby's and Christie's are hoping to benefit from the hype over the street artist by offering his prints in their autumn sales. Although the final lineup of the sale has not been finalised, a highlight of the sale would be one of Banksy's most recognisable prints- Girl with Balloon with a value of £60,000 - 80,000. Other popular prints offered include Welcome to Hell (2004) with an estimate of £18,000 - 22,000 and Pulp Fiction (2004) which is estimated at £12,000 - 18,000.

Other highlights from the Sotheby's sale include Laugh Now (2004) which carries an estimate of £24,000 - 28,000 and Donuts Strawberry (2009) with a value of £15,000 - 20,000. The sale is titled Banksy/Online and will go live on 6 September.

Christie's Banksy sale, titled I can’t believe you morons actually buy this sh*t will go live on 11 September but details of the sale have yet to be revealed.
