Museum of Modern Art to Open Flagship Store in Hong Kong, Its Largest Design Store in Asia

Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is opening a new flagship store in K11 Musea, Hong Kong in August this year. The 6,000 sq ft store located at Victoria Dockside in Tsim Sha Tsui is set to be MoMA’s largest design store in Asia.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, New York, Museum of Modern Art is one of the world’s largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world. Some of the famous artworks in its collection include Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night, Salvador Dali’s The Persistence of Memory and Andy Warhol’s Campbell's Soup Cans.

The new flagship store in Hong Kong will be MoMA’s third outpost in Asia, while two other stores are in Tokyo and Kyoto. MoMA design store offers a selection of design products and gifts inspired by MoMA’s collection, as well as collaborations with some of the most renowned artists in the world.

A wide range of exclusive products and limited-edition items will be developed specifically for the Hong Kong store, including works by KAWS and Yayoi Kusama, whose works have been welcomed and celebrated among Asian art lovers.
