As fires continue to ravage Southern California, some of music's biggest stars are selling their personal items at the Julien’s Auctions MusiCares Charity Relief Auction to offer a helping hand.
Timed to coincide with the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards, the charity auction, an official GRAMMY event, will take place live at The Recording Academy in Santa Monica and online on 2 February 2025, featuring more than 60 one-of-a-kind items donated by music's influential figures spanning genres and generations.
Among the items up for grabs are autographed guitars from a star-studded line-up of music icons, including Billie Eilish, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, and Metallica. Also not to be missed are stage-worn wardrobes from K-pop idols such as NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT). Other highlights include a handwritten concert set list from Coldplay and a Paul McCartney-signed lyric book accompanied by a unique Abby Road Studios experience with Giles Martin.
Held annually in conjunction with the MusiCares Persons of the Year celebration, the pre-Grammy auction event raises vital funds to help musicians recover from crises, including the recent deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County. Music professionals affected can reach out to MusiCares for assistance with costs related to evacuation, relocation, instrument replacement, home damage, medical care, mental health services, and other essential living expenses.
