International Antiques Fair Returns for Its 12th Edition, Opening Next Month with Lineup of Exciting Events

The highly-anticipated International Antiques Fair (IAF) is returning for its 12th edition. For antique lovers and general public looking for an opportunity to acquire antique knowledge from experts and art enthusiasts alike, don't forget to save the dates.


The fair is set to be held from 24th - 28th May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Hall 5BC. It welcomes more than 70 exhibitors from around the world to showcase over 10,000 pieces of collectibles from various categories including porcelain, ceramics, works of art, furniture, paintings, sculptures, watches and jewellery.

IAF will bring visitors to the fascinating world of glassware and traditional Japanese art through two special exhibitions – ‘‘Graces of Ancient Glassware” will feature an array of Chinese antique glassware from the celebrated PT collection. In collaboration with WADO PROJECT, “Beauty and Faith: Mingei and the Essence of Japanese Art” will introduce artists in wide-ranging fields who embrace nature in their relentless quest for beauty. It will also delve into Buddhism and tea culture, important elements that form the basis of traditional Asian culture and aesthetics.

IAF will also create a cross-cultural dialogue between experts in the field and prominent figures from renowned museums by hosting a series of lectures on topics such as Hong Kong antiques market, glassware, Japanese art, silverware and more.


IAF will open to public for free from 25 to 28 May, following a VIP opening night on 24 May. Sharing a philanthropic vision to give back to the community, the fair organiser,Chak’s Investment Limited, is going to make a donation to benefit a designated charity during the fair.
