G-Dragon ‘Untitled 2017’ Art Exhibition to Open in Taipei, First Stop of Its Asia Tour

Even though G-Dragon is still serving his mandatory military service, scheduled to be completed on 26 October 2019, it doesn’t stop his widespread popularity in Asia. UNWRAPP, a Seoul-based company that produces and distributes lifestyle goods designed by G-Dragon, presents an art exhibition titled Untitled, 2017 in Taipei, which runs from 1 - 18 August 2019.

The art exhibition features a series of artwork designed by G-Dragon, including seven acrylic artworks from the artist’s well-known ‘Flower Road’ Series’ (꽃길). G-Dragon said, "When I'm on stage, the waving hands of audiences make me feel like I'm floating on a flower-covered road. This sensation floods me with all the memories we share. All night long I paint, listening to our songs, my heart filled with gratitude to all. I truly hope my sincere, deep gratitude, not fleeting embellishment, reaches you, my beloved friends."

Seven acrylic artworks from the artist’s ‘Flower Road’ Series’ will be on display at the exhibition

The exhibition will also offer limited-edition merchandise, including six designs from the ‘Flower Road’ Series (US$218 each) and one from ‘Untitled, 2017’ (US$518 each). All imprinted with serial number. The global online sale will start on 31 July. For more details, check out AMA's official website

The exhibition will be held in DOPENESS Art LAB in Taipei and the ticket is NT$300. After Taipei, the Asia tour will make its stops in Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta and Hong Kong, but details are not yet announced in the UNWRAPP's official website.
