For Christie's Hong Kong upcoming auction of Magnificent Jewels on 28 November, it will be led by the most expensive jewellery piece ever to be offered at Christie's Hong Kong. The Pink Promise, a 14.93 Carats Fancy Vivid Pink Diamond Ring, carries an estimate of US$28,000,000 – 42,000,000. Christie’s has invited Hong Kong celebrity Eliza Sam to showcase the highlights of the sale.

Pink diamonds are often considered among the most valuable gemstones in the world. The Pink Promise weighs 14.93 carats, in the colour of Fancy Vivid (the rarest one in the range of colour strength). It is classified as VVS1, a clarity grade that comes after completely flawless (FL) and internally flawless (IF).
