Most of the time, Handbags and Accessories Sales are dominated by fashion items that seem to be appealing to women only. But in the upcoming sale at Christie’s Hong Kong, there is a lot being on offer that all men would be drooling over. It is a set of bright red bumbag and cardholder from the coveted LV x Supreme collaboration, which created a sensation in the fashion world early this year.

There is a mixed reception on the collaboration between these two brands. Some view this as a big leap for streetwear as it demonstrates increasing power in remodelling the fashion industry. At the same time, some are disappointed that the line between “high fashion” and “streetwear” has been blurred.

This unprecedented collaboration has taken the fashion industry by storm. Celebrities like David Beckham and Justin Bieber are also a fan of the collection, which covers backpack, bandana, bandoulière and sneakers etc.

The set is now estimated at HK$20,000 – 25,000 (US$2,575 – 3,219). It is actually a reasonable price range given that the official prices are pretty much the same. Not to mention that the market price of the cardholder alone has already gone up to HK$6,000 – 10,000 (US$772.5 – 1,287.5).
